EPAK's vision complements LPMP's commitment to reading, writing, related skills and education

EPAK's Educator Micro Grants Program has been providing skilled teachers working towards bridging the educational gap with the opportunity to apply for the grant. This grant amounts to $750, and for a total of up to $1,500 per academic year as the teachers can apply for this grant twice a year.

EPAK's vision complements LPMP's commitment to reading, writing, and related skills and education. Their literacy project focuses on providing:

● Listening centers

● Reading rooms

● Reading intervention activities for providing students extra help

● Classroom libraries

EPAK also acknowledges outdoor activities as a necessity for students. Previous field trip destinations included The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Oakland Zoo, California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, The Exploratorium, The Tech Museum and local public libraries.

Congratulations to EPAK as they help support teachers and students in engaging modes of teaching.
