Pro bono is an indelible expression of Sheppard Mullin’s core values as a firm and as lawyers practicing within our local and extended communities. Sheppard Mullin's pro bono work helps our veterans, the homeless, victims of domestic violence, the disabled, immigrants and people fleeing persecution, not-for-profits, entrepreneurs from disadvantaged communities, and many other individuals and organizations in need of and deserving pro bono legal assistance.

In 2021, we were privileged to be the only law firm to receive the ABA’s top honor, the Pro Bono Publico Award,  for outstanding pro bono service. The award reflected the individual and collective efforts of our attorneys who embrace their responsibility to do pro bono work, using their skills to pursue justice and create a better society. We are proud of our work and that our efforts have been recognized by clients and pro bono leaders alike.
